Welcome
The Northern Schools of Anaesthesia were established in 1996 to co-ordinate anaesthetic education and training in Northumberland, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear, Durham and Cleveland.
There were two Schools which were combined to make up the Northern Schools based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Since January 2008 The Northern School of Anaesthesia became The Northern Deanery Postgraduate School of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.
