Welcome to Northumbria VTS
NVTS is the largest vocational training scheme in England. We provide training for over 350 GP Specialty trainees, across an area from the North Tees to the Scottish border and from the NE coast to the lakes.
We therefore provide training in a variety of GP practices; from inner city practices to very rural ones, from very small to very large: and hospital training in all the trusts in the northern region.
We aim to produce competent, caring and enthusiastic GPs, who will be able to met the needs of patients and the wider NHS.
