To run a successful postgraduate training programme for intending General Practitioners

We aim to achieve this by:

• Recruitment of appropriate doctors
• Providing good quality GP training practices
• Providing good quality hospital training posts, tailored to the learner's educational needs.
  
• Running a flexible and developmental half day release training programme geared to the needs of our training doctors, and modified using GPR feedback.
  
• Providing a forum for career advice and pastoral care
• Providing accessible and informative administrative support.
• Establishing good relationships with our educational colleagues in the Deanery.
