This map shows the location of our GP training practices, there are four training practices in Carlisle.

The training practices have been carefully chosen and approved to ensure that all the GP registrars are exposed to good General Practice in their earliest years. All GP registrars will be appointed to specific GP Trainers who will be responsible for them during the General Practice attachment. GP Trainers encourage GP registrars to remain in contact with their training practices during their hospital attachments. The scheme formalises this with a biannual Back in Practice half-day release attachment for all GPRs.
