Appraisal of GPRs

by Andy Punton last modified 17-10-2008 15:27

GPR appraisal now forms part of the workplace based assessment (WBPA) of the MRCGP.

Educational supervisor interviews are, in fact, appraisal interviews, the evidence of development of learning being contained in the eportfolio. The "form 4" is the educational supervisor's report.

At the final educational supervisor interview at 34 months, the trainer will perform a GP-like appraisal at 34 months as the main component of the educational supervisors interview, and from that develop an annual PDP with the GPR to take them through the subsequent year of personal professional development.
