Ways of deciding if a GPR is fit to go solo
- Attendance at out of hours training course.
- Understands system - record keeping, staffing, services etc.
- Sufficient experience- past work, Cuedoc work accompanied by Trainer/Supervisor.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to manage uncertainty
- Ask the GPR how they feel!
- Assess performance during day and OOH - RCA, PCA, video, tutorial, and observation.
- Feedback from supervisors, colleagues, drivers, control room, staff
- Assess also for where they work - lighter shifts vs. heavy ones.
