Fit to go Solo

Ways of deciding if a GPR is fit to go solo

  1. Attendance at out of hours training course.
  2. Understands system - record keeping, staffing, services etc.
  3. Sufficient experience- past work, Cuedoc work accompanied by Trainer/Supervisor.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage uncertainty
  6. Ask the GPR how they feel!
  7. Assess performance during day and OOH - RCA, PCA, video, tutorial, and observation.
  8. Feedback from supervisors, colleagues, drivers, control room, staff
  9. Assess also for where they work - lighter shifts vs. heavy ones.
